The position
We are looking for an Application Manager to oversee business-critical software used across clinical and hospitality operations. You will connect end users, internal IT teams, and technology partners while helping improve the organisation's application landscape.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure the reliable operation and continuous improvement of healthcare and hotel-management systems
- Handle escalated application requests and provide second-level assistance to key users
- Help employees use systems effectively through training, guidance, and practical documentation
- Act as the main technical contact for third-party software vendors
- Investigate system issues, coordinate corrective actions, and follow cases through to resolution
- Prepare and validate software upgrades, patches, and new releases
- Coordinate testing activities and support the introduction of new functionality
- Lead IT and application-related projects from initial planning through implementation
- Review business requirements and translate operational needs into workable system solutions
Your background
- A qualification in medical informatics, business information systems, computer science, or a related discipline or equivalent professional experience
- Relevant experience supporting and managing business applications
Alternatively:
- A professional clinical background combined with strong digital skills and a clear interest in healthcare technology
- A good understanding of clinical processes and the wider healthcare environment

- Previous involvement in software testing or IT project delivery
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to develop practical solution concepts

- Availability for occasional business travel
