QC Project Manager - Microbiology Pharma (80 - 100%) in Schönenwerd

Overview

In this role you drive quality-controlled microbiology projects within Eurofins Swiss operations, ensuring timely, GMP-compliant results and seamless documentation. You work closely with cross-functional teams to map projects, review technical deliverables, and support new business opportunities. You’ll optimize processes and maintain SOPs while upholding high customer service standards. This position offers hands-on impact in a growing, science-driven environment.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Supervise microbiology-focused customer projects and related subcontracted analytical services
• Plan and organize projects and deliverables, reviewing plans, documents, and validation reports
• Map and configure projects in the LIMS system
• Ensure analytical work is conducted properly, on time, and GMP-compliant
• Approve analysis results and reports
• Provide supervision and scientific support while supporting new project acquisitions
• Process laboratory deviations and perform root-cause analyses (OOS)
• Collaborate on quotations and contribute to site-wide process optimization
• Review and revise work instructions (SOPs)

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Completed studies in life sciences (pharmacy, biochemistry, biology, ideally microbiology)
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a regulated environment (ISO 17025, GLP, ideally GMP)
• Experience in pharma quality control in microbiology and clean water analysis
• High customer and service orientation
• Strong IT and Office skills; ideally experience with LIMS
• Ideally project management experience
• Team player, responsible and reliable
• Very good German and good English skills
• Knowledge of French is an advantage
