European Air Transport Leipzig GmbH (EAT) is a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group. We are both a maintenance company and a cargo airline and are currently responsible for the aircraft maintenance of 32 Airbus A300-600, 5 Airbus A330, 32 Boeing B757, 26 Boeing B767 and 24 Boeing B777 at our locations in Leipzig, Frankfurt, Cologne and throughout Europe.

YOUR TASKS
We are looking for motivated and responsible aircraft mechanics, CAT B1 (m/f/d) for the dayshift.
You are in possession of a valid EASA license as CAT B1? Then become part of our team! The following tasks await you:

• Carry out general maintenance and servicing work on aircraft and aircraft components of an aircraft type (type rating) within the internal qualification defined in the MOE of the EAT, e.g:
• Analysing faults – evaluating fault logs
• Eliminating specified faults or damage by replacing defective components/replacing fluids
• Installing aircraft parts
• Checking the functionality of e.g. control and steering gear, landing gear, hydraulic
• Control and documentation of the performed maintenance and repair work
• Inspection and release of aircraft after maintenance work, including the aircraft structure, engines and mechanical systems of an aircraft type within the specified internal qualifications
• Carry out CAT A work on aircraft and aircraft components

YOUR PROFILE

• Licence ‘Certifying Staff’ according to Part-66 of category B1
• At least one company-related type rating desirable
• Experience in aircraft maintenance
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills
• Good PC user skills
• High degree of team spirit
• Careful and conscientious way of working
• High level of commitment and resilience
• Driving licence category B
