Agile Software Architect

We are a leading clearing house for energy and commodity products in Europe, with 21 offices worldwide. Our mission is to provide security for our customers by ensuring the physical and financial settlement of transactions for EEX Group and partner exchanges.

About This Role

This position has its focus on Software Development – not on Data Engineering. You will support our Data Technologies-team as a Software Developer (f/m/d) and work closely with our business departments to create requirements and translate them into software designs.

Job Description

Your tasks will include:

• Transforming our Data Landscape by reviewing and implementing modern data artifacts
• Designing specific data-based solutions for different parts of the organization using state-of-the-art technologies and security tools
• Analyzing our Data Technologies portfolio for potential improvements respectively deriving and implementing new features
• Ensuring the compliance to internal and external standards, regulations, procedures and best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• Several years of demonstrable experience in agile/scrum-based environment
• Extensive experience in Java, Python and the GCP ecosystem
• Strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills in Business English and German on intermediate level
