Overview
In this role you will join the Development team, collaborating with a major client’s IT on site while working remotely from the EU. You will translate designs into impactful Power BI dashboards and reports, focusing on clear storytelling and UX to boost data-driven decision making. You’ll shape at-a-glance KPI visibility, create reusable visuals, and integrate DWH insights with SharePoint and other solutions. This position offers cross‑functional collaboration in a multinational environment and the chance to influence reporting architecture.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Analyze functional and technical designs prepared by the project team
- Propose a data storytelling and UX design approach with consistent visuals to improve user experience
- Review existing reports and propose and implement enhancements
- Prepare mockups/prototypes of dashboards and reports and present to business owners and end-users for feedback
- Organize dashboards so KPIs are immediately visible and navigation is intuitive
- Design a SharePoint site to consolidate dataset catalogue, dashboards, and DWH resources
- Support automation initiatives based on DWH datasets, reports and dashboards
- Collaborate with DTS staff and consultants on DWH Power BI reports integration with other solutions
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Relevant university degree with significant coursework in Graphic Design, Communication, or Marketing Analytics
- Minimum of five years of experience in UI/UX design and high-quality dashboards
- Data storytelling and UX design ability to translate complex data into a narrative
- DAX proficiency for dynamic, user-friendly measures (e.g., YoY growth, moving averages)
- Expert knowledge of Power BI visual best practices, including visuals selection and avoiding clutter
- Customization and formatting skills: Format pane, themes, color palettes for accessibility, interaction settings
- Dashboard navigation design using buttons, navigation bars, and landing pages (SharePoint)
- Certification: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300) or equivalent
- Other relevant certifications in design/data storytelling, UI/UX, HCI, Power BI, Azure SQL
- Excellent command of the English language
