Expert Project Manager (f/m/d) Agile IT Projects

Working field:

You will be responsible to direct and manage the entire life-cycle of international IT projects of large size and complexity following best-practices from common project and agile management standards (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2 Agile, Scrum) in an agile environment. Your personal skills to coach, mentor and supervise project team members is needed to encourage them to take positive action, take accountability to their assigned work and actively shape how we work with each other when implementing changes. Within your project management tasks you will perform regular reporting of the project status, preparation of decisions and facilitating meetings with senior management and external stakeholders. It is important that you identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, project dependencies and critical path, changes in project scope, and devise contingency plans. An important task will be to develop and maintain close and effective working relationships with senior stakeholders to ensure clear communication lines are established and maintained. Furthermore, you will contribute as ambassador to the development of our framework for change management within EEX and ECC (the “Flight Level Methodology”) towards a higher level of agility and empowerment by promoting and implementing agile project management standards. You will provide one-on-one and group coaching to team members to enhance understanding and application of agile principles to further foster a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within our team. In doing so, you will actively contribute to the development of international energy and commodity markets, accompany product launches and, of course, receive a great deal in return for your outstanding performance from your team. Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 years proven experience as an IT Project Manager; expert knowledge of agile project management techniques and tools is required
• Knowledge about agile working principles and their application in practical settings
• Excellent inter-personal skills – to interact with all external and internal project stakeholder groups including senior management and your team members
• Certification as a Project Manager (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2), Scrum Master
• Deep understanding of the wholesale energy market and/or financial markets and/or IT systems
• Strong will to continuously improve the way we work together as an organization
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal in English (German is a plus)
