Purpose
You will join a diverse and cohesive team of business analysts and system experts responsible for EIB Group’s HRIS.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to shaping the future digital experience of EIB Group’s large community of users as part of the EIB Group’s Digital Transformation Program. You will be responsible for business analysis, configuration, quality assurance, and advanced user support activities for Oracle Cloud HCM and PeopleSoft HCM, working in collaboration with other internal business lines such as HR, GIS, user representatives, as well as external software providers, to ensure the successful achievement of the expected business benefits.
The role is primarily focused on the Payroll and Absence Management modules, combining support and maintenance responsibilities for the EIB Group’s existing PeopleSoft HCM platform with the opportunity to play an active role in the transition of these modules to Oracle Cloud HCM.
Operating Network
You will report to the Head of Unit and work in collaboration with other teams within EIB Group’s HRIS users mainly within HR, Group Information Systems (GIS) as well as coordination teams across other business lines within the Group.
Accountabilities
- Collaborate with HR business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document functional requirements for Oracle Cloud HCM and PeopleSoft HCM modules.
- Translate business needs into system configurations and functional specifications.
- Identify process improvements and recommend best practices aligned with the systems capabilities.
- Develop and execute test plans for new implementations, upgrades, and maintenance releases.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with HR stakeholders, ensuring issues are tracked and resolved promptly.
- Validate system changes against business requirements before deployment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for complex functional issues within PeopleSoft HCM modules.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, liaising with technical teams and Oracle support as needed.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure effective use of PeopleSoft HCM and Oracle Cloud HCM functionalities.
- Stay updated on systems enhancements and industry trends.
- Manage quarterly Oracle Cloud HCM releases, including impact analysis, testing, and deployment.
- Maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and release notes.
- Serve as the liaison between HR business units, GIS teams, and external vendors.
- Facilitate communication and alignment across stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
- Support change management initiatives to minimise disruption during system changes.
Qualifications
- University degree (minimum an equivalent to a Bachelor) preferably in Information Technology, or other related fields.
- At least 3 years relevant professional experience, ideally as an implementor or as a system administrator of an HRIS, specific experience with a payroll system is considered as an advantage.
- Solid functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM or PeopleSoft HCM, with hands‑on experience highly preferable in Payroll or Absence Management modules.
- Familiarity with HR processes like payroll, compensation and benefits, absence and time management.
- Good data analysis skills, including the ability to extract transactional data from the system, review data flows between systems, and identify potential inconsistencies.
- Hands‑on experience in writing SQL queries to extract, analyse, and validate data.
- Proven experience in business analysis, testing, and advanced functional support.
- Very good communication skills to facilitate stakeholders’ alignment.
- Oracle Cloud HCM certification is an advantage.
- Excellent knowledge of English and/or French (***) with a good command of the other. Knowledge of other EU languages would be an advantage.
