Our Association brings together 53 men’s and women’s professional football leagues, representing more than 1,328 clubs in 34 countries across Europe. /p pWe are currently seeking an bOffice Events Manager /b to serve as a central point of coordination and provide day-to-day support across administrative, organisational, event management and office management functions. /p pThis position is based in Nyon, Switzerland, and requires the successful candidate to reside within commuting distance of the office. /p h3Job information /h3 pbJob title /b: Office Events Manager /p pbContract type /b: Permanent (open-ended) /p pbLocation /b: Le Martinet - Chemin du Canal 1, 1260 Nyon (SUI) - (home office up to 2 days per week) /p pbStart date /b: January 2027 /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3Executive, Administrative Office Support /h3 ul liProvide comprehensive administrative and executive support to the General Secretary (GS) and the team based in Nyon. /li liCoordinate calendars, meetings, appointments, travel, accommodation and related logistics for the President, General Secretary and the Nyon-based team. /li liOrganise internal meetings and office activities, including meeting logistics, agendas, dossiers and briefing materials. /li liDraft and prepare correspondence, presentations, reports and other documentation as required. /li liSupport communications on behalf of the GS and handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, calls and general office communications. /li liLiaise with Members’ Administrations across Europe, football stakeholders and EU Institutions, coordinating meetings, logistics, agendas and related documentation. /li liLiaise with office providers, suppliers and external service partners, including procurement of office supplies and management of supplier relationships. /li liMaintain and manage electronic and physical filing systems and contact databases. /li liMonitor and maintain staff leave and vacation records. /li liEnsure the smooth and efficient running of day-to-day office operations. /li liUndertake additional administrative duties as required. /li /ul h3Finance Accounting /h3 pTo support and assist the Head of Finance in: /p ul liManaging internal and external invoices, monitor payments and ensure compliance with financial processes. /li liProcessing expense reimbursements and petty cash reconciliations. /li liMonitoring membership fee payments and follow up on outstanding balances. /li liMaintaining monthly bookkeeping records. /li liReconciling accounting records with the external accounting firm and fiduciary. /li liSupporting the preparation of year-end financial reporting and related documentation. /li /ul h3Event Management /h3 ul liPlan and deliver meetings and events, including General Assemblies, Board Meetings, Workshops and Seminars organised by the European Leagues and/or in coordination with member leagues and other football stakeholders. /li liCoordinate event logistics, venues, travel arrangements and participant communications. /li liPrepare meeting materials and documentation for internal and external stakeholders. /li liCoordinate event operations onsite while liaising with external providers and contractors. /li liAct as the key onsite contact and support the host during events. /li /ul h3Profile Competences /h3 ul liExcellent communication skills are essential for this role.
