Senior Plant Manager - Manufacturing Operations / Aviation
We are partnered with a global leader in industrial technology and electrical energy management solutions looking to hire a Plant Manager to assume full strategic and operational responsibility for their manufacturing site in Northern Germany.
This is a permanent opportunity, based primarily onsite in Bremerhaven (3-4 days onsite).
Key responsibilities for this Plant Manager position:
- Develop and implement operational strategy, objectives, and standard procedures across the manufacturing site.
- Drive lean management, continuous improvement, capacity optimisation, and productivity initiatives.
- Own the digitisation roadmap including MES, IoT, and predictive maintenance.
- Lead capex planning, budget management, NPI, and technology transfers.
- Establish and monitor KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Build and develop high-performing teams through coaching, succession planning, and talent development.
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, quality, supply chain, and HR to align execution with business goals.
Key requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- Several years of leadership experience within a manufacturing environment, including full plant management responsibility (supply chain, HR, and P&L ownership).
- Proven track record in Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and Change Management.
- Experience with ERP systems and strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English and German is a hard requirement.
