European Tech Recruit are working closely with a leading semiconductor company, based in Munich, who are looking for a talented Director of Analog Design to join their team and lead global analog and mixed‑signal IC development across their expanding portfolio in automotive, industrial, and consumer applications. This role is pivotal in shaping the analog design strategy, driving innovation, and ensuring operational excellence across multiple design centers. As a senior leader, you will lead and develop your team, guide execution and contribute to company‑wide engineering and organizational policies. You will be accountable for department‑level budgets and responsible for building and mentoring cross‑cultural teams. Responsibilities as Director of Analog Design Strategic Leadership PhD is a plus. Minimum 15 years of experience in analog/mixed-signal IC design, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of successful tape‑outs and product launches in Analog Design. Deep expertise in analog design fundamentals and power management circuits, including state‑of‑the‑art software engineering tools. Experience in automotive‑grade IC development and IATF and/or ISO compliance is a plus. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience managing cross‑cultural teams and working in a global matrix organization. Ability to travel internationally as needed.
