We're partnered with a leading semiconductor designer and manufacturer based in Germany, seeking an experienced FAE to join their growing automotive team. The FAE acts as the technical growth engine at the customer interface, bridging advanced analog, power, and microcontroller technologies with real-world automotive applications, enabling customers to design successful products while accelerating commercial outcomes. The role combines strong engineering expertise with a consultative, customer-first mindset.
The Role
- Act as a key technical point of contact for customers and partners, guiding them through requirements, product fit, and design decisions
- Champion the company's sensor solutions in the market, building awareness and confidence with both end customers and channel partners
- Work closely with the commercial team to strengthen technical credibility in customer conversations and support the path from opportunity to design win
- Assess prospective customers and use cases to help focus effort where it will have the most impact
- Run technical sessions, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops to help customers and partners get the most from the product range
- Build and share technical knowledge through training, documentation, and day-to-day support so both internal teams and external partners are equipped to sell and support the portfolio confidently
- Feed insights from the field back into the business to help shape how products and support evolve
Your Profile
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor components (microcontrollers, analog, mixed-signal, power)
- Proven track record building customer relationships and delivering application support
- 3+ years' experience as a Field Application Engineer in the sensor or semiconductor industry
- Automotive sector experience preferred
- Fluent English required and C1 level+ German is required
