Jira Consultant and Transition Manager – Contract 24 months – Munich (hybrid 50/50)
We have partnered with a German technology group known for advanced test and measurement equipment, secure communications solutions, and broadcast technologies. Its innovations support industries like wireless communications, aerospace, and cybersecurity, earning a reputation for precision, reliability, and engineering excellence.
We are now looking for a Jira Consultant and a Transition Manager to join the team in Munich on a hybrid mode.
Core Responsibilities:
- Support teams in planning, executing, and stabilizing Jira migration activities.
- Take ownership of planning, tracking, and carrying out migration tasks.
- Provide clear, regular status updates on migration progress to stakeholders.
- Develop solid concepts—such as target Jira architecture, governance models, and naming/structural conventions—and present them convincingly to stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Informatics, Computer Science, or a comparable discipline.
- Strong proficiency in Jira; administrative expertise (workflows, permissions, schemes, custom fields, JQL, dashboards, automation) is a plus.
- Familiarity with SAFe, Scrum, and Kanban, including their practical implementation in Jira (boards, sprints, epics/features/stories, PI planning, program/team boards).
- High level of independence, structured working style, and strong results orientation.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a friendly, solution‑oriented mindset.
- Language skills: German at negotiation level and advanced English.
