For our SQS group we are looking for an The Position Operation and maintenance of 2D imaging detectors Support and development of coherent diffraction imaging experiments on clusters, nano-particles and biomolecules Operation, maintenance and development of sample delivery sources for clusters and nanoparticles Active participation in the broad science program at the SQS instrument Development of individual research activities at the European XFEL Support and consultation to instrument users for their experimental campaign Requirements PhD in physics or an equivalent academic degree Experience with coherent diffraction imaging methods Experience in handling and operation of cluster and nanoparticles sources and/or liquid jets Motivation to participate in the operation of an experimental station enabling forefront research at Free Electron Lasers Substantial knowledge of data acquisition and data processing tools Good communication skills in English For additional information, please contact Michael Meyer ( ).
