EPI Europrop International Gmb H is responsible for the design, development, manufacturing, delivery and logistic support of the TP400-D6 engines for the A400M aircraft.

- Head of Supply Chain Quality (m/f/d)
- Scope
- Lead the EPI Supply Chain Quality team supporting the Product Delivery Function
- Ensure that EPI supply chain related quality issues are managed to support deliveries within the given commitments (on time / on quality)
- Act as EPI senior quality focal for EPI suppliers Part21 (PCs, direct suppliers)
- Initiate and lead process improvements within the Product Delivery Function.
- Ensure process compliance of the production sites.
- Ensure process compliance of the NCR and Concession process
- Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Ensure that the NCRs raised at the EPI supply chain (EAL, POT, Buy Off) are managed according to process and within the given commitments
- Support and follow up customer quality issues in coordination with the Quality Assurance Representative at A400M FAL.
- Lead Quality Escapes (QER process) without effect to the end customers for the ones assigned for, with follow up of related
- investigations and improvement
- Follow-up the root cause analysis and corrective actions committed by suppliers, EAL and FAL in order to ensure engine delivery.
- Align with supplier, EAL and FAL on process and documentation improvement and ensure that the committed measures are successfully implemented.
- Manange concessions with suppliers and customers and provide the relevant KPIs
- Review and monitor the supplier performance by providing KPIs and Scorecards
- Promote and manage improvement action plan of EPI suppliers
- Perform supplier quality reviews on EPI direct suppliers
- Participate in Industrial Readiness Reviews
- Perform Engine Buy Off inspection and promote actions to eradicate findings
- Support the EPI audit programme by performing the assigned audits (QMS, POA) to ensure process adherence at all levels
- Support audits requested by EPI customers (Airbus, OCCAR)
- Consult and arbitrate on Production Organisation related certification questions
- Support the sourcing of new suppliers
- Identify risks, propose and coordinate mitigation
- Represent EPI on quality matters in front of suppliers and customers if requested
- Ensure compliance to the EPI QMS within the given work scope and work proactively on improvements for the EPI QMS.
- Lead and monitor quality control and assurance visual metrics
- Lead or participate in Quality and Production meetings presenting quality issues and providing requested quality related KPIs and supplier scorecards
- Report functionally to the Head of Product Delivery
- Profile
- Quality Engineer with a solid aerospace background âwhole engine experienceâ and good knowledge in engine production
- 4-5 years of experience in supplier management, monitoring and surveillance
- Good knowledge in Aerospace regulations and standards EASA Part 21/ EN9100
- Good experience in various quality methods for investigations (8D, 5-Why, etc.)
- Experience in âLeanâ Methods
- Experience in team management
- Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Very flexible regarding working and service times
- Flexible in terms of travelling and working on different EPI locations
- Team player able to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Good English level is mandatory
