Overview
As Engineering & EHS Team Lead at the Basel Plant, you drive technical reliability, preventive maintenance excellence, and end-to-end CAPEX expansions. You provide strategic engineering leadership while EHS is led locally, ensuring alignment with GMP and quality standards. You collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, MS&T, Supply Chain, and Global Engineering to advance continuous improvement, digitalization, and lifecycle management. You shape the engineering roadmap and cross-functional execution to enable reliable operations at scale.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and develop the engineering team across mechanical, automation, and utilities disciplines
- Own end-to-end expansion, upgrade, and CAPEX projects (URS, vendor mgmt, FAT/SAT, commissioning, qualification)
- Ensure high technical availability via preventive and predictive maintenance
- Oversee engineering documentation, deviations, investigations, and CAPAs
- Provide EHS leadership oversight while Local EHS Lead handles day-to-day EHS
- Promote continuous improvement, digitalization, and lifecycle management
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA, MS&T, Supply Chain, and Global Engineering
