Are you an experienced sales leader ready to make an impact in the marine industry? Cathelco, a global leader in marine solutions, is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to drive sales for spares, services, and New Build solutions, focusing on German shipowners, ship managers, and shipyards. This critical role reports directly to the Managing Director of Evac Germany.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales for spares, services, and New Build solutions across all business lines.
- Support retrofit business through lead generation in the German market.
- Achieve sales targets and maintain detailed CRM records.
- Build strong customer relationships through regular visits and tailored solutions.
- Resolve customer issues and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Develop and implement sales strategies, negotiate contracts, and introduce new products/services to end users.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and provide insights on market trends and value propositions.
Key Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Maritime Studies, Economy, or an MBA.
- 10+ years of proven sales experience in the German and global marine markets.
- Strong expertise in New Build sales, Navy related Sales and C-suite negotiations.
- Solid understanding of the marine market and Navy contract negotiations.
- Fluent in English and German (written and spoken).
- Exceptional analytical, presentation, negotiation, and selling skills.
