Overview
You will lead the creation of a new electronics materials business unit within a global specialty chemicals group. You will define the strategic roadmap, identify high-growth segments, and develop a compelling value proposition for advanced electronics materials. The role blends commercial leadership with deep technical insight to drive market entry, product development, and partnerships, including M&A, to scale a new growth platform. This home-based senior role involves close collaboration with the Divisional President and external stakeholders to penetrate the electronics supply chain and adjacent high-tech markets.

- Establish a stand-alone electronics materials business unit from ground zero
- Define and own the strategic roadmap and market entry strategy
- Conduct product and market analysis to build a value proposition for the electronics market
- Develop business plan, routes to market, and market strategies for growth
- Pursue M&A opportunities and build external partnerships and industry relationships
- Develop commercial and technical roadmaps with focus on customer alignment and product development
- Travel as needed to execute the strategic plan and penetrate the supply chain
- Analyze market dynamics, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Fluent in English
- Degree qualified in chemistry/materials/engineering or related field
- Deep expertise in advanced electronics materials, semiconductors or adjacent high-tech materials industries
- Extensive commercial background (BD, BU head, GM, or similar)
- Proven track record of building and scaling initiatives from scratch
- Experience with M&A execution would be advantageous
- Ability to operate in complex, ambiguous environments and drive alignment
- Knowledge of the entire electronics supply chain
