Senior Underwriter I, Reinsurance

Role Purpose In this role you will work closely with the Zurich based Marine team to manage the existing portfolio and to develop new opportunities with the aim of growing the book profitably. The existing book includes Cargo, Hull, Liability, Energy (Upstream, Downstream, Renewables) and is a mix of both proportional and excess loss business. You will help define line of business and market strategies, manage client and broker relationships and offer Everest Re’s transaction capabilities to clients and brokers in Europe and the broader International environment. In addition, you will assist in managing Group accumulations for key loss scenarios. In addition to working with the Zurich based team, there will also be close liaison with the Marine colleagues in New Jersey, the Global Specialty Lead plus co-ordination across the Everest International network.
