We are seeking an exceptional investment professional with a strong STEM background and genuine software development experience to join a highly entrepreneurial investment and technology platform focused on robotics, automation, AI and industrial technology.
About the Role
This is not a traditional finance role. We are specifically interested in candidates who started their careers in technical disciplines and later transitioned into investing, finance, strategy or capital allocation.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate investment opportunities across robotics, automation, AI and industrial technology
- Conduct technical, commercial and financial due diligence
- Build financial models and investment cases
- Support transaction execution and portfolio management activities
- Work closely with engineers, founders, operators and capital providers
- Contribute to internal software, automation and analytical tooling initiatives
Qualifications
- 5–7 years of professional experience
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Data Science or a related STEM discipline
- Prior hands-on software development experience
Required Skills
- Strong coding skills (Python preferred)
- Experience in investing, venture capital, private equity, structured finance, infrastructure investing, asset-backed finance or related fields
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities
- Demonstrated interest in robotics, automation, AI or industrial technology
