About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced M&A professional to join its Group M&A team. The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying, evaluating, negotiating and executing acquisitions across Europe, while working closely with senior management and external advisers. This is an excellent opportunity for an Investment Banking Vice President, experienced Associate, Private Equity professional or Corporate Development specialist looking to transition into a highly acquisitive international platform. Responsibilities
Lead and execute acquisitions from initial assessment through completion. Perform financial analysis, valuation and commercial assessment of acquisition targets. Manage due diligence processes alongside legal, financial and commercial advisers. Prepare investment papers and recommendations for senior management and the Board. Support negotiation of transaction documentation and commercial terms. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders throughout live transactions. Build relationships with founders, advisers and industry participants to support origination efforts. Monitor market activity and identify strategic acquisition opportunities. Support integration planning following completed acquisitions. Qualifications
6–10 years of relevant M&A experience. Background in Investment Banking, Private Equity or Corporate Development. Demonstrated experience leading complex M&A transactions. Strong financial modelling and valuation skills. Excellent commercial judgement and analytical capabilities. Ability to manage multiple live transactions simultaneously. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or a related discipline. Fluent English; additional European languages are advantageous. Preferred Skills
Healthcare, healthcare services, business services or consumer sector transaction experience. Exposure to buy-and-build strategies. Cross-border M&A experience. Experience working with founder-owned businesses.
