Are you a recent graduate or an early-career tech enthusiast ready to jump into the trenches of cybersecurity? We are looking for a curious and driven Junior Cyber Security Specialist to help us defend our global organization—securing everything from our cloud infrastructure to the physical manufacturing floor (IT & OT).
Working alongside our senior experts, you won’t just be pushing paper; you’ll get hands‑on experience managing threats, locking down systems, and responding to real‑time incidents.
This is a newly created position reporting to the Cyber Security Manager. This position is based in Sierre - VS.
Your Mission:
- Be the Shield: Monitor and analyze security alerts using SIEM solutions (like Splunk) and support Security Operation Center (SOC) activities.
- Manage the Keys: Fine-tune Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools to ensure only the right people have access.
- Hunt Vulnerabilities: Run regular vulnerability scans across both IT and Operational Technology (OT) networks, and team up with admins to deploy critical patches without disrupting factory production.
- Protect the Factory: Support the hardening of our Industrial Control Systems (ICS) and manufacturing equipment against emerging threats.
- Respond & Adapt: Jump into action during security incidents for rapid response, and help us keep our internal security policies sharp and up‑to‑date.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
- Experience: Entry‑level or recent graduates are welcome! Relevant internships, academic projects, or early IT/Cyber experience counts.
- Tech Foundations: A solid grasp of network protocols, cloud security, and secure configuration. You should know your way around basic security monitoring practices and tools.
- The Right Mindset: You are a reliable problem‑solver who thrives in a dynamic, global team. You are curious, adaptable, and communicate clearly.
- Language: Fluent in English.
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) Security (like securing SCADA/DCS environments or ISA/IEC 62443 standards).
- Familiarity with frameworks like NIST.
- Industry certifications (or if you are currently studying for them), such as CSX-P, CISA, CCSP, CSSLP, GICSP, or CISSP.
