About us
To support our growth and ensure the excellence of our products, we are looking immediately or by agreement for a rigorous and solution-oriented supplier quality expert to join our teams for a fixed term.
Your mission
Based in Sierre within our Supplier Quality department, you will be responsible for the quality management of certain supplier commodities by coordinating internal follow-up and external communication with suppliers.
You will regularly collaborate with production, purchasing, and R&D engineers.
You will handle a more operational role with the processing and follow-up of supplier non-conformities.
You will also conduct audits at suppliers to verify their manufacturing processes and implement the necessary action plans (CAPA) to ensure the conformity of our parts.
You will assist the current manager and be responsible for coordinating the incoming inspection team during their absence.

- Your main responsibilities
- Quality management by commodity: Complete management of the non-conformity flow, from entering the claim in SAP, to forwarding to the supplier, follow-up and ensuring problem resolution.
Examples of commodities: hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components.
- Supplier audits: Plan and conduct process/system audits to approve or monitor underperforming suppliers (business travel up to 10 to 20% of the time, mainly in Switzerland and Europe).
- Quality indicator monitoring (KPIs): Monitoring and analysing quality KPIs (PPM, Cost of Poor Quality); co-leading performance reviews with Purchasing and suppliers.
- Continuous Improvement: Supporting suppliers in resolving complex problems and deploying improvement plans.
- Team management: Managing the incoming inspection team (4 people) for a defined period.
Your profile
- Education & Experience: Federal VET Diploma in a technical field or equivalent training, with 5 to 10 years of experience in an industrial environment and conducting supplier field audits.
- Team leadership: Experience in management and team leadership required.
- Technical Expertise & Methodologies: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings (specifications, geometric tolerancing).
Mastery of problem-solving and quality tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, FMEA, PPAP etc.).
- Standards: Knowledge of ISO 9001 (IATF 16949 standards).
- Languages: Native French speaker and minimum B2 English (professional use, written and oral, for audits and negotiations).
Knowledge of German or Italian is an advantage for collaboration with some of our suppliers.
- IT skills: Proficiency in the SAP environment (QM module) and operational skills in Power BI are a major asset.
- Abilities: With good organisational skills, you have a "Purchasing/Quality" oriented approach. Your analytical mind and problem-solving strength will be decisive.
