Responsibilities
- Operate various machines, adjusting one or more variables to achieve efficiency.
- Carry out operational tasks by following established processes, which may involve adjusting basic settings or parameters to meet performance standards.
- Execute simple installation tasks, following detailed instructions and working under close supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
- Assist in maintaining and repairing equipment and appliances by carrying out preparations and providing assistance while following strict, detailed instructions.
- Support the quality function by working within strict quality standards.
- Follow mandatory work instructions, including the use of personal protection equipment where relevant, to safeguard the environment and the well‑being of oneself and others.
Requirements
- Secondary or intermediate education (2 GCSE). Very limited work‑based experience.
- Clear and effective elementary verbal communication skills under supervision to express ideas, request actions and formulate plans or policies.
- Work with guidance to develop, monitor, interpret, and understand policies and procedures, ensuring they match organizational strategies and objectives.
- Plan, organise, prioritise and oversee activities to efficiently meet business objectives with guidance.
- Apply safe systems of work with guidance.
- Develop appropriate plans or perform necessary actions based on recommendations and requirements with guidance.
- Prepare and review relevant, lucid and effective reports at an elementary level under supervision.
- Motivate employees to learn, grow and develop at an elementary level under supervision to help the organisation reach its goals.
- Identify, assess, prioritise and manage risks in a production process at an elementary level under supervision.
- Achieve compliance with applicable rules and regulations in management and/or operations at an elementary level under supervision.
