What your challenges are

In the position of Metal Valorisation and Spent Catalyst Manager (m / w / div) EMEA, you will:

1. Acquire new customers and expand existing relationships in EMEA.
2. Valorise metal-containing catalysts and sell spent catalysts.
3. Negotiate supply contracts and long-term agreements, managing purchase and sale prices.
4. Optimize catalyst and spent catalyst sales and attend trade fairs and conferences.
5. Manage notification procedures for metal-containing spent catalysts from customers, including creating, reviewing, and negotiating notification contracts between customers and Evonik.
6. Coordinate waste transportations across the EU with external partners and internally with several departments like sales, ESHQ, Supply Chain Management, and the production plant.
7. Conduct internal training sessions.
8. Develop new waste transportation concepts within and outside the EU.

What we are looking for

You have:

1. A degree in environmental management, chemistry, business, or a related field.
2. Several years of professional experience in catalyst trading and/or spent catalyst management.
3. Business fluency in French, English, and German.
4. Strong negotiation and excellent communication skills, along with intercultural competence.
5. Analytical thinking and a passion for innovation.
6. Willingness to travel for trade fairs and customer visits.
