A well-established European technology company developing cloud-based platforms for business customers is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join its product engineering team.
This is a hands-on senior development role with an interesting additional dimension: AI agents are already integrated into the software development workflow. The successful candidate will combine traditional software engineering with modern AI-assisted development, helping structure work for both engineers and coding agents.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop new features for a cloud-based B2B platform.
- Work primarily with C# and modern .NET technologies.
- Translate product and business requirements into clear technical solutions.
- Structure development tasks for both human developers and AI coding agents.
- Use and improve AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Review code and validate AI-generated development output.
- Maintain high standards through testing, code review and technical verification.
- Help prioritise development work and coordinate releases.
- Work with product and other stakeholders to ensure technical delivery remains aligned with business priorities.
What We're Looking For
- Strong professional experience with C# / .NET.
- Previous exposure to AI-assisted software engineering, coding agents or agentic development workflows.
- Ability to break complex requirements into clearly defined technical tasks.
- Experience working within agile software development teams.
- Strong understanding of software quality, testing and maintainable architecture.
- Comfortable combining hands-on engineering with coordination and technical ownership.
- Very good German and English language skills.
Experience in any of the following: Microsoft Azure, Cloud-native systems, SaaS platforms, Multi-tenant applications, Microsoft 365 or Entra ID, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, MCP servers.
- This is a permanent hybrid position in Germany, with 3 days per week in the office.
- Candidates can work from one of two offices in the Frankfurt/Hesse region.
