Your Responsibilities
- Development, commissioning, and validation of complex measurement and test systems for opto-mechanical modules and fiber assemblies, taking regulatory requirements into account
- Design of test procedures, as well as definition and coordination of requirements for mechanical components, software, and components used
- Conducting sensitivity analyses to identify relevant influencing and disturbance variables
- Planning, conducting, and evaluating measurement campaigns for product development, verification, and validation
- Defining test criteria and creating structured test and inspection concepts
- Implementing developed measurement procedures into production, as well as providing support and optimization during series production
- Preparing test, operating, maintenance, and calibration documentation
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in photonics, optical engineering, optical system or laser technology, physics or similar
- Solid knowledge about technical optics (e.g. optical imaging quality, aberrations, etc.) and optical device development
- Experience in measurement and qualification technology, preferably in connection to manufacturing/assembly of optical systems & fiber assemblies
- Experience in evaluation, representation & analysis of experimental data
- Advanced skills in Python scripting for data analysis
- Structured, analytical and team-oriented way of working
- Business fluent in German & English
