Tasks
- Conduct incoming goods inspections, measurements for in-process monitoring, and outgoing inspections/final qualifications in accordance with specifications.
- Review and evaluate supplier reports; document and archive measurement results.
- Use, manage, and program existing measuring and testing equipment—e.g., roughness measuring instruments, 3D coordinate measuring machines, handheld measuring devices.
- Assist with the monitoring, management, calibration, maintenance, and upkeep of the machine, measuring, and testing equipment pool.
- Prepare non-conformance reports and initiate complaints as needed.
Profile
- Completed vocational training in a technical field – ideally with further training as a technician or master craftsman.
- Experience working with conventional measuring and testing equipment – ideally also experience with 3D coordinate measuring machines.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering and relevant standards.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications.
- Willingness to work shifts.
