As the People Operations Excellence Lead, you will drive operational excellence within the People Operations team, focusing on optimizing processes and ensuring that our HR practices support the company’s strategic objectives and adhere to compliance standards. You will lead a small team of project and domain experts dedicated to enhancing our operational capabilities and ensuring the effective delivery of People Team initiatives.

Your responsibilities

  • Leadership and Development: Lead a small team of HR professionals and project specialists, providing guidance and development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.
  • Project Leadership: Direct and oversee projects aimed at refining and advancing our People Operations framework to support a world class employee life cycle
  • Strategy Implementation: Collaborate closely with the People Operations team and other departments such as Culture & Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, and Compensation & Benefits to implement strategies that improve employee experience and operational workflows.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze and enhance People Operations processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Strategic Analytics: Develop and implement an analytics framework that aligns with DeepL’s strategic objectives, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Excellent Employee Experience: Drive initiatives that ensure an excellent employee experience throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off-boarding.
  • Compliance and Innovation: Ensure all People Operations activities not only comply with legal standards but also set industry benchmarks through innovative practices.
