As a System Architect, you will design and lead the development of complex system architectures for electronic and mechatronic systems using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) approaches.
Key Responsibilities- Design and define end-to-end system architectures (HW/SW) using MBSE
- Model functions, components, and interfaces (SysML, UML, Arcadia, etc.)
- Define system context and interfaces ensuring scalability and maintainability
- Manage the link between requirements and system models
- Lead architecture decisions, reviews, and assessments
- Collaborate with hardware, software, V&V, safety, security, and project teams
- Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASPICE, ISO 26262, ISO 15288, etc.)
- Support development of architecture processes, guidelines, and best practices
- Degree in Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Systems Engineering / Architecture
- Strong experience with MBSE tools (e.g., Capella, Cameo Systems Modeler, Enterprise Architect, Matlab, PreeVision)
- Solid knowledge of system architecture development & interface definition
- Familiarity with industry standards (ASPICE, ISO 15288, ARP4754, ISO 26262)
- Fluent German (C1) and English (B2)
- Strong analytical thinking and structured xayajpt working style
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in regulated industries (Automotive, Aviation, Rail)
- Leadership or coordination experience in architecture projects/teams
- Knowledge of Safety & Security engineering
- Experience with architecture documentation and model validation
