It has a substantial commercial client base with genuine private banking potential that has never been systematically converted. The infrastructure and the private banking teams are already in place. What is missing is the right leader to bridge the gap between the commercial network and the private banking division.This is not a role for a relationship manager bringing a portable book, and it is not a role for a private banker either. The bank is deliberately looking outside private banking for this seat. The mandate holder leads dedicated private banking teams covering the Geneva market across both domestic and international client segments. These bankers already manage wealth relationships day to day, that stays their responsibility. What the mandate holder owns is the conversion strategy, structuring and driving a disciplined process that turns high-potential commercial relationships into private banking mandates, working hand in hand with the bank's commercial network.The role reports directly to the Head of Private Banking, who sits on the division's management committee, giving this position genuine weight and direct visibility at the top of the organization. The bridge to the bank's financing and commercial teams runs through a structured cross-selling process already in place, so this is a leadership and conversion mandate, not a day to day credit or financing role.The right profile comes from a corporate or commercial banking background. They know how to speak the language of entrepreneurs and business owners, they understand what makes a commercial relationship ready for private banking, and they have led teams before with real accountability for results.
