Senior Developer

Experis Cross Border connects some of the largest and most innovative companies to the highest skilled workers globally, regardless of location. We are currently supporting our client, a Financial Services provider for a Senior Developer.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications and integration solutions in IT projects using agile methods to implement a service-oriented IT architecture.
2. Design and implement integration processes with Boomi and ensure the quality and performance of the developed software and integration solutions through code reviews and tests.
3. Assist in troubleshooting and optimising existing systems and consider and integrate financial services security and compliance requirements to ensure the protection of critical data and systems.
4. Optimise development processes and methods to increase team efficiency and effectiveness and promote team dynamics and engagement. Also maintain effective communication and relationships with all project stakeholders.

Essential Skills:

1. Extensive professional experience with the Boomi integration platform as well as several years of practical professional experience in software development with Java.
2. Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate, Quartz or Shedlock.
3. Experience with Maven, Sonar and Git.
4. Working knowledge of RDBMS database technologies, e.g. Postgres as well as experience with cloud platform technologies such as Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes.

This is a remotely based role (working from home) in Europe. You must have the legal right to work in Europe. There is no requirement for relocation and is initially a 3 month contract with possibility of extensions beyond.
