Senior IT Project Manager - Liquidity Risk Management Remote:

Responsibilities
Ensure comprehensive requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation in close partnership with business stakeholders in Risk, Treasury, Compliance, and regional entities
Take full ownership of end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring adherence to agreed scope, timeline, budget, quality standards, and regulatory objectives
Guarantee strict compliance with Julius Baer’s project governance framework, including milestone approvals, stage‑gate reviews, and minimum security and control standards
Manage all administrative aspects of the project lifecycle, including progress reporting, financial tracking, forecast updates, resource planning, and risk & issue logging
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across IT, Finance, Treasury, Risk & Compliance, delivering clear and timely communication tailored to audience needs
Prepare and deliver high‑quality presentations to steering committees, executive sponsors, and operational teams
Champion smooth transition and sustainable handover of delivered solutions to Operations organisations, supported by adequate documentation and change enablement activities
Apply agile principles and tools effectively, particularly leveraging Jira and Confluence for backlog, task, and knowledge management
Qualifications
Proven track record in managing large‑scale IT projects with
CtB- budgets >
CHF 1m
Familiarity with
liquidity risk management frameworks , regulatory reporting, or treasury operations in a financial institution
Demonstrated experience leading
global, matrixed projects
involving internal and external teams, as well as third‑party vendors
Hands‑on approach to project execution, with proven ability to independently manage all operational aspects of large‑scale IT projects, including regular reporting, budget tracking, financial controlling, resource allocation, and milestone forecasting
Solid command of modern project management toolsets, especially
Jira
and
Confluence
Certified Project Manager (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, PMI‑ACP, or equivalent)
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to influence diverse stakeholder groups across cultures and time zones
Fast learner with strong analytical thinking, capable of quickly grasping complex business contexts, regulatory drivers, and technical landscapes.
Problem‑solving aptitude, emotional intelligence, empathy, and relationship management skills essential for collaborative success
Coaching mindset and team‑oriented approach, combined with a proactive, results‑driven attitude (“can‑do spirit”)
Outstanding communication and presentation abilities - fluent in
English ;
German language skills are a plus
