Coding, including contributions to open source software that we use or maintain!
Writing and implementing design documents (RFCs)
Documenting your creations, as well as ensuring great automated test coverage
Serving as a role model and helping the team to follow software engineering best‑practices
Must Haves:
Highly motivated Software Engineer with ownership mindset
7+ years of experience in software engineering, ideally in large‑scale or high‑growth environments
Strong background in scalable systems and modern engineering practices
Recent hands‑on experience with Python
Business domain: compute infrastructure & platforms
Experience with Kubernetes (usage, concepts, and operations)
Familiarity with public cloud environments such as AWS
Experience in test automation, ideally with pytest
Proactive, solution‑oriented, and eager to take responsibility
English fluent is a MUST
Nice to haves:
Interest in or experience with tools such as HashiCorp Vault, FluxCD, Kustomize, Terraform, Grafana, GitLab, Slack, and Linear
Due to Swiss work permit restrictions, we can only consider applications from EU citizens or holders of valid working permit in Switzerland.
