For our client in Kaiseraugst, Basel, I am recruiting for an IT OT Quality System Engineer.

You as a Quality System Engineer will be responsible for various Windows upgrade, migration, and rollout projects in the laboratory and manufacturing area.
The perfect candidate has a completed apprenticeship in IT and experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes.
General Information:
- Latest Start Date: 1.4.25
- Planned duration: 12 months

Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Planning and executing migrations and rollouts of Windows clients and servers in the lab and manufacturing environment.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) departments.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting during and after the migration process.
- Document migration processes and provide training to end-users or other IT teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and standards.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and other relevant regulations.
- Coordination of End User groups and escalation management as required.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely delivery of hardware, software, and services necessary for the migration project.
Must Haves:
- Completed apprenticeship in IT or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
- In-depth understanding of business processes related to laboratory and manufacturing systems.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and proficiency in using support tools for request and change management.
- Strong background in systems administration and support for laboratory and manufacturing systems.
- Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, client operating systems, and databases.
- Proven experience in managing system rollouts and migrations at both client and server levels.
- Basic knowledge of Computerized System Validation (CSV).
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals.
- Fluency in both German and English, both spoken and written, is essential.
