Senior Business Analyst - Trading & Market Infrastructure

Location: ZurichStart date: Duration:12 months - with possibility of extension Responsibilities & Skills At least 8 years of experience in requirements engineering, within exchange trading, market infrastructure, or broader financial services.Extensive expertise in exchange-traded financial instruments, particularly fixed income and structured products. Experience with equities and ETFs is beneficial.Solid understanding of trading platform and matching engine concepts, including order handling, execution workflows, market model considerations, and trading lifecycle processes.Proven experience analysing and specifying complex trading functionality, with the ability to assess business, operational, and technical impacts across multiple systems.Proven ability to produce high-quality business requirements, functional specifications, interface specifications, and implementation-ready analysis deliverables.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex trading and instrument requirements into clear, actionable specifications.Solid understanding of market infrastructure topics such as trading, market data, reference data, and relevant regulatory considerations.Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with business users, product managers, architects, developers, and testing teams.Experience working in Agile delivery environments and supporting feature refinement, implementation planning, and delivery activities.Fluency in English.
