On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced:
(Contracting position)
Location: Bern – hybrid
Type of employment: 5-month contract with possibility to extend.
Your responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with a team of experts to redesign and develop an existing microservices architecture.
- Leverage your extensive experience to apply best practices in software architecture, implementation, and design tailored to project needs.
- Use your expertise in microservice architecture and Spring Boot to enhance automation for order generation and processing.
- Review and improve architectures and designs, ensuring enterprise-level scalability, stability, performance, extensibility, and maintainability.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code correctness, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
- Actively contribute to the development of a new software solution as part of the team.
What do you bring:
Must-Have Skills:
- Proven track record of leading software architecture projects and implementing complex, enterprise-ready solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of microservice architecture with hands-on experience in Spring Boot.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges and propose proactive improvements.
- Familiarity with common software design patterns and engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Broad knowledge and experience in model-driven development and software-defined networking (SDN).
- Experience in mentoring team members.
