Your Responsibilities: - Be part of the mechanical engineering team in execution projects for power plants and corresponding decarbonized and hybrid solutions - Manage and participate in the execution of mechanical sub-systems and components (e.g. cranes, lifting equipment, elevators) - Evaluate customer contracts, including specifications and requirements - Prepare technical specifications and inquiry documentation - Coordinate and optimize interfaces across steel structure, layout, and electrical disciplines - Supervise contractor time schedules and costs - Participate in design review processes - Review contractors´ engineering, manufacturing, and quality documentation - Coordinate the preparation of customer documentation - Align contractors with project and site requirements - Handle claim management and negotiation - Drive supplier development and qualification - Supervise and report on engineering hours, deadlines, quality, and costs for the mechanical scope - Provide troubleshooting support across the project lifecycle Your Profile: - Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a comparable field, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in the power generation or EPC market - Strong understanding of power plant products and components, including Combined Heat and Power (CHP) solutions - Knowledge of relevant standards for elevators (EN 81-xx) and cranes (e.g. EN 13001-x / EN 15011) - Excellent skills in 2D/3D design tools such as AutoCAD or E3D - Knowledge of materials, welding, mechanical processing, and dimensioning of parts is a plus - Ability to adapt strategies and actions to a dynamic, customer-driven environment - Willingness to take ownership of components and deliver optimal solutions regarding budget, quality, and time - Experience working in (virtual) international teams - Capability to lead cross-functional and cross-product line initiatives, both domestically and internationally - Willingness to travel internationally - High energy drive, business sense, and a proactive working style - Excellent English skills; good German language skills are required Your Benefits: - Above-standard pay - Flexible working hours - Permanent employment contract - 30 days of annual leave - Opportunity for permanent placement with the client - Employee referral bonus - Discounts via Corporate Benefits Germany GmbH - Personal support and dedicated contact person Does this sound like you?
