An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially driven, digitally fluent Marketing & Media Senior Manager to lead digital and paid media delivery across multiple markets from our Geneva office. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence and deep expertise in paid media and digital performance marketing for luxury consumers.
Responsibilities 1. Local Media / Marketing Leadership
Act as local digital media lead, local media lead or local marketing lead depending on market scope.
Ensure media campaigns drive brand strategy and align with global standards while reflecting local audience behaviour, seasonal demand patterns, language requirements and cultural nuances.
Partner with local sales and marketing teams to support market‑specific business and commercial objectives and with global marketing and media teams to ensure strategic and executional brand consistency.
2. Digital Campaign Delivery
Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of digital marketing campaigns across multiple markets, ensuring timely execution, consistency and that all placements and asset adaptations meet luxury brand standards.
Coordinate with creative, content, CRM, e‑commerce, and digital teams to ensure seamless campaign integration and customer journey alignment.
3. Paid Media Strategy & Performance
Develop and execute local paid media strategies across multiple markets.
Manage local agency, platforms and media partner relationships.
4. Measurement & Performance Analysis
Own the integrated measurement of media across the marketing funnel. Monitor and analyse performance and optimise investments to drive brand awareness, revenue growth, customer acquisition and direct bookings, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement, including reports and presentations for senior leadership.
5. Media Thought Leadership & Innovation
Own the innovation plan across channels, identify the latest media industry developments and recommend test‑and‑learn plans to integrate relevant areas into Explora’s media strategy.
6. Build Media Literacy
Step‑change media knowledge in markets across departments to enhance media planning capabilities and excellence in delivery.
7. Budget Management
Own the global media budget planning, spending and stewardship, including agency and vendor management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
15+ years of client‑side roles in global and local media, including planning, ATL/BTL and directly running digital media.
Strong marketing knowledge (marketing, trade marketing, PR).
Outstanding luxury media understanding – in‑depth knowledge of offline and digital media and the interdependencies between paid, owned and earned media, as well as luxury media specifics.
Proven ability to roll up one’s sleeves and execute with excellence.
Track record of managing agencies, platforms and media partners and building effective partnerships.
