Trade Counter and Storesperson | Blacktown Location

Location: Kings Park

Pay Rate: $35.35 per hour + Super

Position: Full-Time | Temp to Permanent Opportunity

Hours: Monday-Friday | 9:00am-5:00pm

We are seeking an experienced Trade Counter / Storesperson to join a well-established steel and industrial supplies business in Blacktown. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong warehousing background who enjoys delivering exceptional customer service and working in a fast-paced trade environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and prepare customer orders from a large range of products, including small hardware items and structural steel.
• Receive, sort and organise incoming stock.
• Assist customers at the trade counter by identifying their requirements and recommending suitable products.
• Provide advice on stock availability and expected delivery timeframes.
• Unload deliveries and safely move stock throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure the warehouse remains clean and organised.
• Deliver a high standard of customer service while supporting the warehouse and sales teams.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a high-volume warehouse environment.
• Previous experience within hardware, industrial supplies, steel, trade centres or automotive/spare parts is highly regarded.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with confidence dealing with customers face-to-face.
• Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual handling tasks.

Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship.
