Overview
In this role you lead the design and delivery of Clean Utilities for pharma/biotech clients, guiding projects from concept to execution. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, ensure quality, schedule, and budget adherence, and drive technical excellence and knowledge sharing. You will act as the lead technical expert for Clean Utilities within multidisciplinary project teams, delivering sustainable, compliant solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape critical utility systems like PW, WFI, Clean Steam, process gases, and wastewater in a collaborative environment.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Define customer requirements for GMP-regulated environments
- Design and develop Clean Utilities systems: PW, WFI, Clean Steam, process gases, and wastewater
- Lead detailed design, prepare specifications and layouts, and develop cost estimates and schedules
- Coordinate and guide a team of 3–5 Utilities Engineers and Designers
- Ensure deliverables meet quality, timelines, and budget constraints
- Review and approve technical documentation and design packages
- Coordinate with suppliers and support EPC activities
- Support commissioning, qualification, and acceptance
- Contribute to cross-project knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Act as lead technical expert for Clean Utilities within project teams
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, or related discipline
- Minimum 8 years’ experience designing Clean Utilities, preferably in pharma/biotech
- Extensive knowledge of PW, WFI, Clean Steam, process gases, and distribution systems
- Knowledge of process wastewater systems (desirable)
- Proven leadership of engineering teams and project coordination
- Strong GMP understanding and industry standards
- Experience managing technical quality, schedules, and budgets
- MS Office proficiency; CAD and 3D design experience advantageous
- Fluency in English (B2); German at C1; French a plus
