As a Design Manager (m / f / d), you are responsible for the overall management of various architectural and technical project disciplines.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities

• Drive consistent project objectives and procedures across CSA, Mechanical, Process, Electrical, I&C, LSS, IT, and Security disciplines.
• Monitor the design process, participate in lead discipline design reviews for constructability, and engage in value-added engineering activities.
• Lead internal and external design coordination meetings.
• Conduct design reviews, e.g., P&ID Reviews and 3D-Model Reviews.
• Ensure the overall project design and production process is efficient and technically accurate, adhering to the project budget and schedule.
• Support the Project Manager during proposal and project setup, including manpower planning, scheduling, benchmarking, estimating, and design change management.
• Analyze, structure, prioritize, and delegate tasks related to design and engineering issues, and follow up on results.

Show your expertise

• Several years of professional experience in project execution and design management in Biopharma & Life Science or Semiconductors.
• Knowledge of engineering workflows and core content such as P&IDs, 3D Model development, specifications, system and functional descriptions, and cost calculation.
• Project management experience is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in German and English.
