Overview
In this role you will oversee technically demanding mechanical work packages from award to completion on large-scale, on-site projects. You will coordinate subcontractor performance, manage change and claims, and work closely with engineering, quality, and planning teams to ensure smooth execution. You’ll help minimize delays and drive continuous improvement in a diverse, international environment. This position offers meaningful impact on major engineering projects and a clear path to shaping project outcomes.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Monitor subcontractor performance and progress for mechanical systems
- Handle subcontractor claims financially and contractually
- Manage change orders and interface with subcontractors
- Coordinate claim management with contract management
- Mitigate risks from delays via proactive planning and communication
- Negotiate contract conclusions
- Collaborate with engineering, design, quality, planning, and project management
- Drive continuous improvement through feedback and lessons learned
- Provide regular reporting to the Project Procurement Manager
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed technical education or degree in mechanical engineering or similar
- Several years’ experience in project management on large-scale projects
- Solid knowledge in mechanical disciplines (e.g., HVAC and wastewater)
- Knowledge of contracts per VOB, BGB or HOAI advantageous
- Proficient in English and German (spoken and written)
- Willingness to travel nationally and work on-site depending on project phase
- Decisive, adaptable to change, with strong interpersonal and solution-oriented working style
