As Lead Process Engineer, you will drive high-quality process design and scalable logistics solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech manufacturing. You work with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant, future-ready layouts and project execution from concept to qualification. You act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, shaping logistics concepts and risk-aware designs. This role combines technical leadership with international collaboration and continuous learning to elevate process performance.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead logistics process planning for inbound, automated warehousing, robotics, outbound, and intra-production logistics in biotech environments
- Manage all project phases and budgets from feasibility to commissioning and qualification
- Assess customer requirements, develop concepts, and present solutions to stakeholders
- Create layouts and process flow diagrams; prepare URS/TS and support equipment and IT software selection
- Drive technical decisions, design reviews, workshops, and risk analyses (HAZID, HAZOP) for quality and compliance
- Coordinate interdisciplinary teams and external suppliers; lead move-in concepts for critical equipment
- Develop and improve methods, tools, and promote knowledge transfer across teams
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field; 15+ years of consulting/engineering experience; logistics engineering experience preferred
- Strong leadership and proactive, solution-oriented mindset
- Deep understanding of logistics processes; IT affinity; experience with SAP IM/WM or Insite LMS
- Proficiency with MS Project; AutoCAD; 2D/3D layout modelling advantageous
- Excellent analytical and communication skills; independent, detail-oriented, resilient
- Fluent in German and English; ability to collaborate in international teams; willingness to travel up to 30%
