Senior Space Manager (m/w/d) in Ludwigsburg

Overview

In this role, you lead multi-discipline design coordination for complex facilities in pharma and semiconductor sectors. You work closely with discipline leads, project and design managers to shape layouts, MEP integration, and 3D concepts. You support construction and field engineering, ensuring safety, constructability, and maintainability. You drive innovative design practices and align 3D delivery with project goals.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Coordinate design across disciplines and cover technical aspects to a certain degree
• Participate in layout development and define functional areas with discipline leads
• Design shafts, bridges, pipe racks, system distribution, equipment layout, media tunnels, and maintenance platforms
• Ensure MEP requirements are communicated, coordinated, and tracked within CSA scope
• Collaborate with disciplines, project manager, design manager, vendors, and 3D design leads to review design quality and address critical issues
• Establish conceptual guidelines for the 3D design team and ensure concepts are implemented in their work
• Support construction management and field engineering during the execution phase
• Enhance safety, constructability, and maintainability of the design outcome

Zentrale Anforderungen

• Experience in plant design across multiple disciplines
• Technical background as an engineer in MEP or CSA
• Ability to analyze design data from layouts, PDFs, text, and 3D models
• Strong coordination skills and integrative thinking
• Good command of English and German
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Experience with Revit, BIM Track, and AutoCAD
• Open-minded towards AI in engineering and design
