In this Lead Engineer role you own the design and execution of sprinkler and fire protection systems for international greenfield industrial projects, from concept to commissioning. You work closely with clients, authorities, and engineering teams to develop compliant concepts and coordinate across disciplines. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Take technical ownership of planning and execution of sprinkler systems for complex greenfield projects
- Develop and implement technical concepts for sprinkler and fire protection per standards and regulations
- Lead and coordinate engineering activities from concept through detailed engineering and execution
- Coordinate interfaces with clients, authorities, engineering disciplines, contractors, and stakeholders
- Review and approve design documents, hydraulic calculations, specifications, and technical documentation
- Support tendering, procurement, and technical evaluation of suppliers and subcontractors
- Support site execution including technical clarification, installation coordination, testing, and commissioning
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Several years of experience designing and executing sprinkler and fire protection systems in industrial projects (ideally semiconductor or biopharma)
- Solid knowledge of standards/regulations (VdS, DIN EN, FM Global, NFPA)
- Experience in technical project coordination and cross-disciplinary interfaces
- Proficiency in sprinkler design and hydraulic calculation software; CAD/BIM systems is a plus
- Strong technical understanding, structured approach, high ownership
- German and English language proficiency; willingness to travel for projects
