Overview
As Senior Internal Auditor, you independently evaluate internal controls, risk management and compliance to strengthen governance and efficiency. You lead audits across operational, project, financial and compliance areas and translate findings into actionable recommendations. You advise and mentor teams while driving improvements to the Internal Control System and partner with leadership to enable informed decisions. This role offers scope to influence risk management practices within a global organization and to shape best practices in internal audits.

- Lead and execute complex audits across operational, project, financial, and compliance areas; assess governance, risks, controls, and process effectiveness
- Identify and evaluate emerging risks and develop practical recommendations with stakeholders
- Prepare and present impactful audit reports to senior management with clear, actionable insights
- Drive process and control improvements to enhance operational efficiency and ICS development
- Act as a trusted advisor and mentor to foster collaboration and implementation of best practices
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- Professional certification (e.g., CIA, CPA, CISA, CFE)
- 8+ years of internal audit experience including leading audits and managing teams
- Expert knowledge of audit methodologies, risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and audit technologies
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with senior leadership experience
