Senior Consultant – Technology Consulting – SAP Finance
The opportunity

In your role, you will be the link between operations and IT, inspiring our customers with insights into how technology can improve their workday and enable them to fulfill their goals. As a Senior Consultant, you will contribute to utilizing the potential of digitalization for our customers, thus building a better business world for everyone.
Your key responsibilities
- Facilitate discussions with client stakeholders to help them define their needs and translate them into project requirements
- Drive the design and implementation of the latest finance technology solutions suited to client needs, and manage project phases and activities throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Proactively identify opportunities to collaborate with local and international colleagues across EY
- Contribute to the development of the Technology Consulting Practice by co-owning client proposals, internal initiatives, and recruiting activities
Skills and attributes for success
- A Bachelor\’s, or Master\’s degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or Business, with a strong academic record of achievement with minimum 5 or respectively 3 years of relevant working experience; broader experience with S/4HANA implementations and/or with business intelligence and analytics tools preferred
- Significant experience with one or more of these areas: Central Finance, Accounting (AP/AR, General Ledger), Financial Planning (SAC/GRP/IBP), Financial Consolidation, Financial Supply Chain Management, Management Accounting (Cost/Profit Center, Product Costing, Project System)
- SAP Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., SAP Analytics Cloud: Planning; SAP Business Planning and Consolidation) are a strong advantage
- Experience with requirement gathering, process mapping, and/or data modelling, especially in the Consumer / Luxury Goods / Advanced Manufacturing industry; previous experience in consulting is an advantage
- Proven experience with conveying information tailored to audience needs
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; strong work ethic, growth mindset, and willingness to take ownership and responsibility
- Trained and experienced in project and stakeholder management
- Full professional proficiency in English and French; any other language is considered a plus
- Willingness to travel
