Position Overview This role is part of the Systems Engineering team at Roche Diagnostics International Ltd in Rotkreuz, supporting medical device development. Responsibilities Support the Systems Engineering team with process optimization for medical device development. Create and develop use cases of AI for design analysis, system performance, and documentation. Maintain product‑specific records such as requirements or risks using the Lifecycle Management tool RETINA from codebeamer. Collaborate within interdisciplinary development teams. Report status to stakeholders in accordance with project‑specific requirements. Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within the last 12 months) from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in biomedical, electrical, mechanical or systems engineering, biotechnology, chemistry, or related fields. Interest in emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence. Motivation to begin a professional career in the medical diagnostics industry. Clear communication skills for diverse target groups. Ability to build, manage, and foster relationships and networks. Quick grasp and understanding of complex issues, with conceptual and creative thinking. Good knowledge of spoken and written English; German is a plus. Position Details Start date: August 2026 or upon availability. Workload: 100%. Duration: 6–12 months.
