The Position

At Roche Diagnostics France, attached to the team Finance & Insights Direct-to-Patient & Pharmacies, you contribute to the affiliate’s success by ensuring operational excellence in Finance processes and systems.

The Finance Excellence Partner (FxP) plays a key role in driving the Finance function towards a more efficient organization, working as a network at EMEA-LATAM regional level, with the aim to maximize the impact on the business and the patient journey.

Purpose

As a Finance Excellence Partner for the Direct-to-Patient & Pharmacies Network, you streamline financial operations and reporting by simplifying, aligning and using analytics to improve decision making.

You also work closely with the affiliate teams (Business Intelligence, Sales & Marketing, Sales Administration, Supply Chain, Finance & Insights Diagnostics) and with the accounting teams from the shared service center in Budapest.

You help foster a culture of innovation and experimentation (e.g. exploring digital finance and AI), and further automation and digitalization in the Finance function.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Ensure the finance processes alignment with the Finance & Insights Diagnostics team (month end close, planning, reporting) and a smooth transition to the new SAP platform.

  • Contribute to the month end close in collaboration with the team Finance & Insights Diagnostics and with the Shared Service Center in Budapest, prepare the ad hoc reporting for the Direct-to-Patient & Pharmacies Network.

  • Support managers to prioritize and managing costs and cashflow, and to execute the commercial strategy by providing dashboards and indicators to give financial & operational transparency.

  • Maintain the local business intelligence platform, update the commercial data base for the customer monitoring.

  • Prepare ad hoc analysis, provide insights to trigger the business decision-making.

  • Contribute to the preparation and submission of the budget and strategic plan, always seeking a trade-off between simplification and appropriate level of information.

  • Act as an expert on commercial finance systems and processes; you are SAP key user and the owner of the Finance master data owner for the Direct-to-patient & Pharmacies Network.

  • Participate in a major project to implement a new SAP platform that will allow the optimization of key processes, of which order-to-cash and quote-to-contract, analyze the relevance of global solutions versus local specificities, and ensure business continuity during the transition.

  • Ensure consistency of systems and financial information and their integration into ERP in relation to the full contract lifecycle.

What you bring:

  • You are a digital profile, with a strong appetite for information systems and IT tools. You are ideally key user SAP, or aspire to become one.

  • You have a Masters degree in Finance with a strong interest for accounting standards and management accounting.

  • You have at least 5 years’ experience, ideally in an international Group.

  • You like to work in a matrix environment that is changing and complex. Ideally, you have already worked directly with a shared service center.

  • You are known for your entrepreneurial mindset and your curiosity, allowing you to solve problems by proposing solutions and to generate new ideas that you know how to implement.

  • You have a passion for simplification and process improvement.

  • Fluent English (minimum level B2).

At Roche, we see diversity as a source of innovation. We are open to all profiles and committed to creating an inclusive workplace.

Roche is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
