Who you are
Your Role as IT Application Manager
As an IT Application Manager, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and optimizing a portfolio of critical business applications. You will act as the bridge between cloud services and local IT operations, ensuring seamless integration and performance. A key part of your role will be managing IT operations for our German location, making sure all processes run efficiently and securely. If this sounds like you, we’d love to meet you:
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise application management or IT operations.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of cloud services, IT infrastructure, and enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with application lifecycle management, including unified communications, network security, and governance solutions.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead IT initiatives.
- Fluent in English and German (business level proficiency required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus points if you:
- Have experience with ITIL methodologies or hold relevant certifications.
- Have knowledge of video conferencing, password management, and ITSM platforms.
- Are familiar with network management tools and security best practices.
What you will do
- Application Lifecycle Management: Oversee and manage the full lifecycle of business-critical applications, including unified communications, ITSM platforms, email security, and governance solutions.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring smooth transitions from implementation to operational management.
- Cloud & Operations Interface: Serve as the primary liaison between Cloud Services and IT Operations teams to ensure seamless integration and efficiency.
- Local IT Coordination (Germany): Manage all IT-related matters for the German office, including hardware provisioning, LAN/WIFI/WAN maintenance, and telecommunications coordination.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure all applications and IT operations align with company security policies and industry best practices.
- User Support & Training: Provide support and training to ensure colleagues can efficiently use key applications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT, data teams, and external vendors to implement new features and integrations that enhance business operations.
